1-TRUCKS TRUCKS TRUCKS TRUCKS TRUCKS TRUCKS/ W Per Touch..!

Now Ford, Chevy, GMC & Ram.. All Mfg America..Toyota, & Nissan Join In From Afar…!  Half ton pickups hv become just the thing to do when it comes to trucking here in America.! Right, every body is doing it here,and helping the economy so I had better get join the party-Right..!  The Ram, Chevy Silverado, GMC & Ford F-150, here in the good old USA of mfging seems to hold the lead for now, but competition is fierce for these four..!  They seems to love the challenge, if you get the drift…[ Now on a personal note, I must add that I have owed three of these mfrs.. My 1st car was a Used, but to me it seem like it was new & it was a 1947 Chevy sedan..  My 2nd car was a 1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible.. In both cars, I was 100% happy & satisfied on the used and 500% satisfied on the new one… It was great choices in both cases with Chevrolet product..! In 1979 my wife & I was planing to build our 1st home in Scottsdale, AZ. and was looking to purchase my 1st new truck for the building job… Yes, I choose a 1979 Ford F-150 & as I remember I paid appx $8000 for it… It did the job, and 150%, time after time, on any job requirement that I ask it to do and some were very difficult, load wise as I recall..!  Now on the the Dodge product..After working for two different Dodge dealers in Arizona for many years as their Fleet Dirs, Dodge got in my blood and it happen honestly by me both owning and selling the Trucks and even the Cars/MiniVan/SUV & Trucks..! So I start after the new Dodge Ram truck was introduced in the mid to late 90s, I was so impressed with the new truck, that I purchased a 1995 2500 LB 4×2, and it was such a pleasure to drive, with all the power with the Cummings diesel Oh my goodness..!  I just couldn’t believe how great it felt to be up high and such a great view of the traffic, which I hadn’t experience for quite some time & it just felt good to be back on the road driving my new Dodge truck..I just can’t find the words to describe my feelings of what I had to share with my new and old customers..! Yes, I know you must know the rest of story about that truck, and where it has come to today… I also, in 2003 I started seeing their new redesigned Ram as they arrived on our lot at Earnhardt’s Dodge, (The No 1 Dodge Dlr In The World For 9 Years in a Row, which with my effort & my fleet dept helped make that happen…! )  So when that new truck came in, I just had to test it out, Oh my Goodness what a improvement I can’t name all of them It was just unbelievable… So-there you go again Ken..! As Pres Ronald Reagan use to say & yes I did.. I purchased a new 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 4×4 Crew Cab Short B,SRW … All White, and talk about a proud person of new truck, it was me and it made me so happy that I had made that purchase of this new resigned truck from Chrysler, and also that I really had a story to tell my customers & my friends about my truck and all the features, including towing ratings, and what it would tow with new improved diesel, their was soooo much to tell, & yes I was excited,right..!  Guess what, that new Dodge Ram set just outside my office window at the Dodge Store!  When a customer came in looking for a Dodge Ram, of course I now had something to show.. I had it loaded with every thing from a Brush Guard on the front/ Airbags on the rear axel/ Special running boards/ a 100 gal diesel fuel installed in the bed/a special monitor system to see the air pressure in both the truck and trailer… So you can see, I was read to roll..My other Dodges were the Intrepid sedan, It was a new design sedan.. I loved it so much, that I had it wrapped with the Dodge Ram logo on the hood, and my Fleet dept advertising along with my name & contact all over the side doors, and the rear with great messages, on saving money by contacting our fleet dept… Last but now least was the new redesign Durango with new fancy lights all across the rear.. Now that was just one of the great options on that SUV, and it drove great and yes it had seating for 7 complete with rear air and air cooled seats for drive & passenger.. A necessary feature feature for your driving pleasure here in Arizona..]  So as you can see, I have had personal experience owning, enjoying, testing & puting to real lifetime uses and experiences on all,except GMC.. Ok..?         Now back to the Trucks, On the American mfg let’s say like the GMC trucks are making inroads in product development, we all have seen the commercial of people from all walks of life carrying the tail gates from the new GMC trucks.. With this new design, folks have the convenience of almost walking into the bed of the truck…!  I can’t imagine just how this one added feature that produced unbelievable truck sale..!  The numbers are staggering, their are sooo many more coming to add to this GMC products as you see them coming up the ladder…They are coming on strong as I see it..

+5/1 So as I reflect over my many years in the automobile business, and with regard to TRUCKS and let’s not forget the name FORD, yes it has I think the leader in the USA for many years, or yes sometimes you will hear the work “Ram”, but I think it is in the rear view mirror…But right now Ford comes to my mind as first in trucks & all my opinion…So Let’s go back a little… Back into the mid 90’s…Do you all remember with the New Dodge Ram showed up in the Dodge dealers show rooms all across the country… What excitements abounded… I will never forget…That was when the new Ram hit with the new big front grill, and the new logo also hit at the same time…Everybody just couldn’t get enought of the bold “different” front grill..Also, that wasn’t what all the excitement was all about. I will share…It was about that new cummings diesel, and also the new Hemi 5.7 right about that time…So Ram was on the ” Come Back “, and looking up big time… Not just for the everyday Dodge truck buyer… Also the truck was now call the ” Ram ” truck…To continue, this truck seemed to just set off fireworks to almost any truck buyer, and yes some turned out to be previous Ford/Chevy and even Toyota.. Some to just try it out I guess…However these trucks had an appeal for constructions companies, Ranchers to haul cattle/ horse trailers/ farm supplies, Cowboys from the rodeos around the country, Transportations companies, for all kinds of hauling applications, and even the big one ton Rams to haul cars if you can believe that, their was no stopping that cummings diesel…The last real user that comes to mind was the RVrs, with their camping trailers to pull behind, but the Big user in the the RVrs with their big 5th wheels, lengths running from the 20 ? feet to as high as 57 ft in length… What this all means is that the folks that made these purchases, purchased with confidences that new Ram from Chrysler and that new & improved 6-cyl engine from Cummings, was what made them make their decision… Now we all know that the Ford trucks has for ever been the leader in trucks, but don’t count out the Ram, it has been receiving awards right and left & don’t think for one minute that they are really working on getting their, with new innovations both now and in the future.. Case in point… All of us remember the Ram’s new 12′ display screen complete with all the toys of convenience… Now everybody in the world, (even our little fur babies) have been so excited.. Then when you were talking to someone about the new Ram, they would say ” Have You Seen That Screen ? ”  Well guess what ?  Someone else one else was listing..!  Your’er right, Ford Motor company… Starting next year, and probably most of the years to come in the future, all Super-Duty and Lariat model.. The XL will have the 4.2 and the XLT will have the 8 inch display…So you see, Ram lead with this innovation… This is just shades of things to come when it comes these two invatiers… Also please don’t count Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC… I am sure that they both being on the same team, will have suprises for us, like the GMC folding 2-step tail..!  I can share with you that this automobile business has been one of the best decisions to get on board.. It seems that as each year comes on us, it creates another act for the play of the car business…

Sharing My Thoughts With You On My Journey Into The Auto Sales Profession !

Now that I have my blog site up and running, I thought that Ken Nichols, myself would write a blog of just how I found my way to selling cars/trucks. First about my first car, a 1947 Chevrolet that I bought for $650 money that I earned working during my school vacation in the grocery store and a little help from my Mother. I was the only student in my HS that had a car yea! Then moved to Akron, Ohio & took a job working for Firestone T&R. In those days, I felt I was doing good and I decided to see if I could buy a brand new car. I loved the inviting styling of the 1960 Chevrolet Impala Conv… I couldn’t believe it, but GMAC approved my loan, and there I was in that my new Chevy Convertible, all white, lots of chrome & bright red leatherette interior, Life was good ..Pur price was $3400.00. My how times have changed. Can you believe it… After getting this new wonderful car, I was hooked. I always thought about selling cars, but just for some reason maybe fear of not being able to do the job, I just don’t know. I just never checked it out. I took a lot of other jobs, over the years and as I worked them it was always in the back of my mind why don’t you just go sell cars. So after many years, and building 2/3 houses, an offer was presented to me and I just decided to go for it..! I first started in the retail end of the business but didn’t like the way they were dealing with customers, and that was it was not very professional. I wanted to do my it way and that is to be professional, treat the customers the way you would want to be treated.
In 1987 I found a dealer in Scottsdale Az, called Linda Brock Auto Plaza. I ask for the Fleet Mgrs job and it was a done deal. So I worked there for eight years and had a wonderful experience working for Mrs. Brock, she was a great dealership owner. After a year or so there, I seem to become her “right-hand” salesperson. I ended up dealing with two governors of the state of Arizona. Many professional ball players & a couple of movie stars which I never thought that I would ever meet, it was great. It has been a wonderful experience. You see the way that I take care of my customers was I always was fair, honest & upfront when quoting the customers the prices on the vehicles. My goal was always to save the customer as much money as I could, & at the same time help eliminate the hassle sometimes associated with the car buying process. Some folks think buying a car is like going to the dentist! That’s Not the way I do it. I take any and all pain out of the process. Now after 30 years off & on in the business, I have some customers who have purchases four/five or more vehicles from me over the years. The reason is Yes at the end of eight years at Linda Brock Auto Plaza in Scottsdale, Az. It was time to go to the next chapter in my auto sales career…simple, they know how I do business & there are no surprises. Just happy customers…!

LET ME SHARE W YOU MY INFO ON MY 2019 MADZA CX-5 GRAND TOURING RESERVE AWD

REVIEW OF MY 2019 MAZDA CX5  GRAND TOURING RESERVE AWD

Now, I have had a “Lot” of vehicles almost 50. This was my first time making the decision to purchase a MAZDA… I don’t know why, I just never for some reason wanted Mazda… Now that I have had this SUV, I have should have looked at this product much earlier.  Now, why did I choose this one at this time… I am getting much older (Younger) right?  I was looking for Safety… This SUV has it all … Now when I took the test drive.  Wow, thru the front window shield was a display of the miles per hour that I am driving, also the lines on each side of the road were there.. So as I drove along the street if I accidentally drifted onto one side or the other line, it started flashing on and off with a beep letting me know to get back in your lane.  Also when you come to a red stop-lite, it also displayed in the windshield… Now you’re on the road, you see the speed limit signs in your windshield. You also see your speed… You can set it to let you know when & if you exceed the speed limit… I have never had this type of option on a vehicle before, and I just love it. I want to make sure that the next vehicle I get, has it for sure… Now there are so many options on this SUV I am going to list the titles.  Maybe later some of the additional options under them. but there are so many…                                                            ENGINE MECH FEATURES/ 2.5 4 CYL ENG. 227 HP 310 LB-FT TORQUE  Now this engine has so much get-up when you need it,  I was soooo surprised… I wish that I could have time to list all the options that this vehicle has, it is just unbelievable… It is such a joy to drive and own… If you would want more detailed info on this vehicle, just shoot me an email and will send you the window sticker which lists everything..The MSRP is $33,895 that also includes roof and side rails, and dest fees… If you are looking for a great SUV, give this one a look at.  You will be glad you did. This one says Luxury Out Loud, with all leather interior, Bose sound system, 19″ Alloy Wheels.. It’s a great buy… Oh, I forgot one thing, if you get a speeding ticket in this Mazda with ” Heads-Up Display It will be your fault, sorry to say…This SUV has made a believer in MAZDA  for me… Take the time to check one out and I think you will see what I am talking about…!

IS VALUE IN A NAME, ” HONDA “

The right answer to this post name is:  YES, YES YES & how many times that you can say I own a Honda, and I & you will just love it… Yes, it almost like anyone who has owned a Honda, is that it is one of the most reliable vehicle brands that you could own… Now let me say, I for one have owned at least three, (3) yes I said that… Here’s my list … The first one was a 1995 Honda Accord 4 door sedan, Bronze in color…  It was like I said a very reliable vehicle that my wife drove to work for years and years, and then it became my daughter’s car that she needed to drive to ASU in Tempe, Az which was quite a few miles to our house in North Phoenix… That means a lot of driving and a lot of more miles, which over 100k at this time…Then on to ours or my 7th vehicles later, we purchased another Honda and it was a 2003 Honda CRV Silver in color… Now just keep this in the back of your mind… This was the 34th vehicle that I have owned… Also, alone with the first one, this one to was so reliable, and fun to drive.  Maybe a little more, because you sit up a little bit higher, but not much.  We loved it and also it seem that my wife drove it much more than I…Then after that Honda CRV, for some unknown reason as this time  of writing, we left Honda CRV, and went into a couple of Hyundai Santa Fe, 2004 & 2006… Again, I don’t quite remember just & what happen, but we found ourselfves getting back into another Honda CRV 2008, vehicle No 37 if You can believe that… Now I am guessing that by now you have figured it out just why all of this has happened, I mean all these vehicles…Yes, we really have enjoyed all the Hondas.. But I think you have figured it out by now, that when you get into the car business, it’s almost like working at your favorite donut shop, and over time almost each & every flavor becomes inviting…                                And as Walter Cronkite used to say, That’s the rest of this part of my story…!
